'Love' seems to play by thats own melody. Whether that be a sad tune or one that's upbeat and energetic. Alot of the time that 'love' is not returned and you find yourself alone, haunted by that melody, tortured by that heart-throb beat.
I used the rose to represent compassion, longing, romance....and the guitar obviously to represent that tune that the heart seems to hum when you've found yourself in 'love'. The vibrant red against the mellow blue is to indicate one who fell in love, in turn, only to recieve rejection and heartbreak.
Honestly; I'm too amazed for words.. this shows so much meaning, portrays such a concept; it's beyond beautiful. You must have put much thought and time into this. It has good lighting as far as I can tell, and it was arranged so that nothing you've said seems to be left out.
I'm sorry that I can't make this more of a constructive comment; I honestly can't come up with anything more to say besides what was already said. ^^

Amazing cropping and coloring job...it's pretty much perfect; even the abnormality of the roses blur adds to the picture instead of taking away from it.
Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
